HAMILTON, August 26, 2026. I attended a meeting on MAID tonight sponsored by Grant Muys, MP for Flamborough-Gladbrook – North Brant. The meeting was at the Ancaster Fair Ground The guest speaker was MP Tamara Jansen who is sponsoring Bill C-228 a private members’ bill that would prevent MAID being used on someone whose sole condition is mental illness. Canada leads the world in deaths caused by MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying). There;s considerable public concern about vulnerable people being quick marched by members of the medical establishment to their death by MAID.
