Given that the co-sponsors of this event are in agreement that your well documented views on many aspects of society run contrary to our beliefs, we are rescinding the invitation to you to attend the climate town hall at the Church of St. John the Evangelist on Monday, October 13th. Please be aware that it was sent out in error. We trust you will respect this decision.

I acknowledge receipt of this message. Frankly, I doubt you know my views on climate change and are clearly unwilling to hear them. I have, in fact, been an avid conservationist and birdwatcher since I was 10 years old, interest I learned from my Uncle.
Your letter did give me a bit of a giggle. Knowing your affection for “diversity” and “inclusion”, I find it hypocritical that this commitment does not include hearing diverse opinions.
I note that your brave letter is unsigned.
